Chaudhary Hassan the founder of the group entered the rice business in early seventies. Starting as a rice trader he left no stone unturned and gradually began moving on the path to progress. With the Grace of ALLAH, hard work and determination he maintained his pace on the way to excellence and established rice mills in 1986 in Bahawal Nagar the centre of parboiled rice in Pakistan.
Valuable experience of three decades, complete know how of paddy-rice market and close business relations with the traders all over Pakistan, all these distinctions provide sound grounds for SRM to be one of the most prominent, successful and admired rice unit in Pakistan.
